Black Lives Matter Our Commitment for 2020 & Beyond
“The time is always right to do what is right.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
Core to our founding and our ongoing mission as a foundation, we believe that there is no place for discrimination or hate in strong and healthy communities. We also know that it’s not enough to respect our differences, but that if we truly desire to build and sustain thriving communities we must learn to embrace and celebrate our differences – be they religious, cultural, gender-based, or other.
We must rise to this calling.
For us at the B3 Foundation, this means supporting students in their educational endeavors, to invest in equitable and just community programs that support those in need and are active in transforming policies that seek to exclude or uphold unfair advantages. We are committed to embracing and maintaining this mindset through our mentorship program curriculum, our scholarship fund, and our community partnerships.
